Consultancy:

Deciding to bring a CBM programme in-house can be a costly decision. The skill and the years of experience of highly trained contractors should never be underestimated, however at Baseline-RTS we acknowledge that it’s you who are best placed to understand the equipment that is being monitored on site.

We work alongside our clients to support key personnel and ensure they are correctly trained to get the very best out of the equipment. We can advise which technology is best suited to your individual applications.

Following initial training sessions we can support your Engineers on-site by building the route, selecting test points & alarm levels, and help collect initial baseline readings. This guarantees you have the best quality baseline data for future analysis and helps reinforce our training in your real-world environment.

Future quarterly support visits can be arranged to correct any data collection errors to ensure consistency of data collection. We’re available to help as little or much as you require.

Calibration:

To get the very best results, any equipment should be in good working order. At Baseline-RTS we advise ensuring the product manufacturers regularly service and calibrate your equipment to ensure your readings and measurements are consistent.

FLIR Thermal Imaging Cameras:
When it comes to calibrating a thermal imaging camera — not everyone appreciates the difference between a ‘Service & Calibration’ and a ‘Calibration check’. FLIR Systems offer a FULL inspection and a FULL CALIBRATION at their Service & calibration lab. This includes the thermal imaging camera being calibrated against 11 blackbodies (depending on temperature range of the camera); sensor and lens clean up; Software updates; as well as inspection for faults and minor repairs made.

Ultraprobes
After an initial provisional quotation for calibration, units are sent back to the manufacturer where they will be inspected and calibrated. Any minor repairs are done if they are simple or within warranty. UE Systems Being a US company, the calibration standard is followed by ASTM E1002-11. On occasion, you might require some additional repair work on the instrument which will be quoted for and only be carried out with your approval.
